Imagine flying in an airplane that has not been tested for all permutations and combinations that we can ever think of. Designing a nuclear reactor for power generation without testing. Driving Fully Self Driving cars etc. These and more examples call for rigorous and appropriate testing, especially when everything is supported by software modules.
